Itinerary

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Rishikesh (Gateway to the Himalayas)

Arrive at Dehradun Airport (Jolly Grant) / Haridwar Railway Station.
Transfer to Rishikesh, a spiritual hub on the banks of the Ganges River.
Visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat, and Beatles Ashram.
Evening Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan.
Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 2: Rishikesh to Joshimath (8–9 hours drive, 256 km)

Early morning drive along the Alaknanda River via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag.
Scenic views of the Garhwal Himalayas.
Evening free to explore Joshimath, a gateway to Badrinath and Auli.
Overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 3: Joshimath to Govindghat & Trek to Ghangaria (Drive 22 km, Trek 9 km)

Drive to Govindghat, the starting point of the trek.
Trek along the Pushpawati River through picturesque forests and waterfalls.
Arrive at Ghangaria (3,050m), the base camp for the Valley of Flowers.
Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Day 4: Trek to Valley of Flowers (6–7 hours, 10 km round trip)

Begin the scenic trek to Valley of Flowers (3,500m).
Explore the blooming meadows of over 500 species of flowers, including Brahma Kamal, Blue Poppy, and Cobra Lily.
Witness glacial streams, butterflies, and rare wildlife such as Himalayan Monal and Musk Deer.
Return to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Trek to Hemkund Sahib (6 hours, 12 km round trip)

Early morning trek to Hemkund Sahib (4,329m), the highest Gurudwara in the world.
Visit Hemkund Lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
Return to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Trek Down to Govindghat & Drive to Auli (Trek 9 km, Drive 20 km)

Descend to Govindghat and drive to Auli, a famous hill station.
Explore the Auli Ropeway, Gorson Bugyal, and artificial lake.
Enjoy panoramic views of Nanda Devi Peak.
Overnight stay in Auli.

Day 7: Auli to Haridwar via Badrinath (Drive 320 km, 10 hours)

Early morning visit to the sacred Badrinath Temple, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites.
Stop at Mana Village, the last village on the Indian border.
Drive to Haridwar via Rudraprayag & Devprayag.
Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 8: Haridwar Sightseeing & Departure

Visit Har Ki Pauri for the morning Ganga Aarti.
Explore Mansa Devi Temple & Chandi Devi Temple.
Drop at Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for departure.
